Gourmet

While opening this can of dog food this morning I got to thinking...........................................

Gourmet
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
A gourmet is a person with a sensitive and discriminating palate, and who is knowledgeable in fine food and drink or haute cuisine. The word is from the French gourmet, a valet in charge of the wines. It is often used as an adjective for meals of especially high quality, whose makers or preparers have used special effort or art in presentation or cooking the meal, or for facilities equipped for preparing such meals, such as a restaurant. The term and the practice may have negative connotations of elitism or snobbery, but is often used positively to describe people of refined taste and passion.

Okay....so who tests the dog food to know if it is gourmet or not?
In a restaurant gourmet can mean names on the menu you don't recognize and presentations that are unusual

or pretty
but the thing that is the most sure......It is more expensive:)

LOL! Who tastes dog food?

Well, if it smells anything like a can of cat food ~ it's surely not a person, doing it! ,-)

Maybe they have a special dog, whose job it is, to vet new "recipes." :-)))

If you ever start thinking your dog or cat is a gourmet, just follow them around outside for a day and watch what they will pick up and eat!

What is that little vegetable/pancake/meat looking thing in your pictures?
