Hanna Hoes Van Buren 1783-1819
His childhood sweetheart and cousin once removed, Hannah Hoes Van Buren was the wife of the eighth President, Martin Van Buren. She died of tuberculosis before he was elected, leaving him one of the few Presidents to remain unmarried in office. Not much is known of her but in the 12 years they were married she bore five children, one died.
I have posted two posts of Uplifting Wed via Pinterest a month for some time now and feel the need to change it up a bit. Several years ago I created a little packet of jokes, funny pictures, beautiful pictures, stories, special sayings and scriptures for friend who was ill because laughter and God make all the difference. I titled it "Brightspots" and thought it would be fun to share them with you all so I will post one a month in place of the usual Uplifting Wed. post.
"The quickest, easiest way I've found is to get some paper-towels ready (I usually tear them in half) first for good "grabbability." I'm right-handed so I hold the small end of the leg in my left hand (using a paper towel half), then I'll use another paper-towel half to grab the loose skin at the top of the leg and pull all the way down and off."
This works soooooo good and I am a happy camper. I just soak the legs in a baggie with BQ sauce and then in the air fryer they go.
