Hubby and I took a little jaunt to Palm Springs, Calif. this past week-end. We have driven by here many times on our way to L.A. but never visited here. Calif. is not my hubby's favorite place due to their gun laws but we do go on occasion. Our hotel was just the nicest little place. It was small and intimate and charming...(double click on pictures for the best view).
The weather was simply wonderful and our stay included a nice breakfast...

Palm Springs sits right next to a mountain so the views are amazing...
and even though we didn't use the pool it was pretty to look at..
We took the Palm Springs aerial tram and though it was a bit expensive, it was an amazing view!!

We got a big kick out of these lighted menu's at the casino restaurant and
they also had wonderful food!
Even though my back is still bad and hubby has this cough he has had forever...we had a good time and am glad we ventured out for one of our little jaunts:)

Wow, I'd love to spend some time in that area! Your hotel looks charming.
Palm springs has wonderful little places to stay!!
Sounds, and looks, like a wonderful visit!
Oh that view of the mountains!!!
Lighted menus in a dimly lit restaurant are a good idea. I've never seen that before.
Sorry about your back but it takes TIME for a back injury to heal completely. Looks like a neat place. I have always associated Palm Springs with MONEY and Bob Hope. I agree with your mate about guns. Prince got me a Life Time NRA license plate frame, when I pulled into the service shop at DW Honda, I was asked "Where is your gun?" I told the cheeky guy to not worry about my gun as it was safe.
Peace
