My hubby ships lots of packages so he has one of these box sealing tape dispensers....
It is quite fun to use but it never fails that I get it twisted before I get it smoothed out on the box.......
so how in the world can Mark Jenkins create his street installations with it?????

oh wow!!! :)
That is a real brain teaser. I for one would have never considered that sticky tape to make artwork. Takes a different set of brain waves to think up such creations. Peace
Cool! I will have to do a little Googling on this.
I just found you from Sandie's blog. WOW I am starting my Friday off with a special nugget. I can't wait to look further but have to scoot and get ready for work. Have a great day.
Wow! According to his website ( http://tapesculpture.org/ ) he makes a cast from a real object first.
That was one patient giraffe he used! ;-)
It looks like ice and I thought how is it not melting. It is tape! Awesome!
It hurts just to look at those art pieces because I have used plenty of that clear packing tape and cut the heck out of my hands using the serrated edge to cut the tape and myself. Plus if you accidentally touch the tape to its own sticky side that piece is gone forever. How does that guy do that????
What amazing creations. I'd love to see them in person. Made of sticky tape....! I can hardly believe it.
