Today is a mile marker for me....exactly one year ago today I broke my ankle
Three bones broken and one a compound fracture.....
After surgery that added screws and a steel plate to put it all together........
Months of therapy and today...
Almost as good as new!!
The left is always a little larger now but I am so grateful to have good use of it.......

You've come a long way in a year. I am happy that you have good use of your ankle.
Oh My Goodness!!!!!
That looks awful! You are so blessed to have come thru that...on your own 2 feet:))))
We take a lot for granted don't we? I am going to be thankful for every step i take today!
Glad you came through all that!!!
Was that a picture of your ankle? You had a miracle.
Chatty...yes, it is...I didn't post it after it happened.....thought I would only show it if I had a happy ending.
Has it been a year already? Yikes. Time sure flies. So happy you are healed.
It is so wonderful that you made it through the year and can dance again. Peace
Congratulations! I broke my neck and had spinal cord injury in Jan '98. For the next ten years my daughters and I had a "Celebration of Life". Sorry to say it has passed us by the last couple of years. We should never stop celebrating! I'm glad you have moved from the hurt to being grateful! Good job!
I got that sunflower feeder at Walmart for $22 or $23! worth every penny in entertainment value!
,,,just have a few seconds but wanted to say Hi...after reading a couple of your posts can't wait until this afternnon when I have a little more time...looking forward to reading your past and future posts
Glad your better...love those painted toe nails!!
That woke me up this morning! I end up hurting my knee every summer and it stays sore for awhile after the kids leave and go home to Texas. This summer I noticed my right knee is fatter than my left one, thinking it was swollen. Nope, it's just fatter. I should take a picture...
At least you had pretty toenails for the surgery. ;) I personally feel that helps. Great post!
OH MY! So glad that you are healing up nicely.
