This past week-end included another gun show but it was local, only about 40 minute drive but to make things easy we stayed in the Marriott next door and I snapped a few pictures for you. This past week-end was unseasonably warm, got up to 74 degrees and for some people (not me) that meant.....
Close up of the flowers mostly begonia's.
Cactus to the right of the entrance and a few close ups of these ....
Now I showed you all those pictures just to prove I didn't have my nose in this book all the time
but I came pretty close because not only was it REALLY good it was also
thick but finished just before we left for home. I have a hard time sitting down and reading at home but when I am at a hotel...I can lounge around all day long:)

I'm noticing the warm weather there and the sunshine. The pool looks inviting.

(We have lots of guns shows in Marietta - do you ever come this far?)
Sounds like a good weekend! Love the wishy-washy directionally challenged cactus. :)
You apparently had a very nice weekend. I enjoyed seeing your cactus pictures. I have always been fascinated with these plants because they look and feel so treacherous but have the most gorgeous blossoms. I tried raising some in my house several years ago but they wouldn't bloom for me.
The Help was a fantastic read! I think it is going to become a classic.
I am eager to see ground that is not covered with ice and snow, and your photos helped. Thanks
Oh I love these pictures....wish i was in that pool!!!!
Looks like summertime. I so want to read that book. I know it must be great. Also, I have something on my post of 1/31 for you.
So nice to see some sunshiny pictures! I am considering reading this book, as I have heard so many good things about it.
It is refreshing to view your pictures because we are in the middle of a horrible blizzard and it isn't fun to look outside.
THE HELP is a wonderful read plus I bought it on audio book too and love listening to the story again with the wonderful readers who portray the various characters.
Sunshine and cactus? Begonias? It seems to me that once I knew such things... long ago before the Great Winter began! ;)
