Here is wishing you......

Or maybe this will be a better match...
But whichever it is I am hoping there will not be any surprises lurching..

No near death experiences.....

no unwanted confrontations....

and if you make a mistake it won't be one that will scream to the whole world...."look what I did"

That you aren't the only one working and everyone else eating...

That you don't have to cross this bridge sober or drunk....

That you won't have any unexpected visitors....

and if there is a man in the lead.....
He knows where the hell he is going....

In other words I am wishing you a survival Monday!!

Bubble gum pink

Well yes, I have to admit, I love bubble gum but what I am talking about here is a most unusual Lake......

Lake Hittier

It can only be seen from the sky since it is prohibited to walk on Middle Island in Western Australia. The reason for this permanent pink color remains undetermined.

Despite the unusual hue, the lake exhibits no known adverse effects upon humans. From above, the lake appears a solid bubble gum pink, but from the shoreline it appears more of a clear pink hue. The shoreline is also covered in salt crust deposits. It is said that even if water is removed and clear water added to it ...it still remains pink.

Meanwhile

My computer went on the blink again but it really is my fault....I have not been running the clean program and the Mal ware program once a month like I am suppose to and have not been shutting the computer off a least once a week....Oh, when will I learn. Poor computer couldn't hardly run for all the junk that had attached itself. Well after a week without it,  I am back in the saddle and hopefully learned my lessons:)

On the home front I bought this bird feeder some time ago
for the yellow bellies I love...they didn't like it:( I paid a lot for it and was just bummed out that they didn't got for it) and then....I realized that the little metal pegs were slippery and that was the problem.

Well, that was easy enough to fix....
Hot glue to the rescue!

Now we are all happy....
they eat upside down.

Home Front

We traveled to Norman, Oklahoma last week-end for the yearly Colt show. Drove right past where the tornado went through last May.
See how the damage is on both sides of the Freeway? It is all cleaned up and much re-built now.

We stayed in the Embassy Suites
Which is always nice however, they were not prepared for us in the restaurant the first night which caused havoc.

A friend of ours brought some jewelry that he had made in a class he took and I really like the one piece...He gave it to me!!
It is all sterling silver and I just love it!!

I take knitting when I go and I made a bunch of preemie socks out of scrap yarn
(you can see more on the side bar under Rambling Rae)

and I finished a auto book which you can also see on the sidebar (bookshelf).

It was a profitable, enjoyable trip:)
