Before and after

My little love birds greeted my guests for over 12 years when one day.....it just wouldn't run any more. These old fountains have the pump buried down in the bottom and in order to fix it you have to dismantle the whole thing.....a big job and then you have to take into consideration that the sun had done a lot of damage and it really needs to be refinished sooooooooooooooooo the next best thing....go shopping for a new one.

I will always remember the day we got this new one....it was the day I broke my ankle. My son-in-law was able to go and supervise the installation while hubby was with me at the hospital. Although I loved the little cupid I think this new one is even better. Maybe it will be the same with my new stronger ankle once it is healed.

Ankle update:
After two hard casts I am now the proud wearer of a

boot. The best part? I can take it off ...which means, scratch, lotion, shave, shower....Yahoo!

I am to start some therapy this coming week and maybe start to walk in three weeks. Doc says I am doing good.

Glad to hear that your ankle is improving and that you are now able to wear the boot instead of a cast. Keep following the doctor's orders and you will be up and about in no time.

Glad to hear you are healing. I like your new fountain and that is precisely the kind I want in my garden.

I am so glad you are getting better - and you have the cast off - and I do like your new fountain too - did it have anything to do with your ankle?

I'm not sure if you got the first comment or not. I'm glad you're doing better and have the cast off and I love the new fountain! sandie

Both the old and the new fountain are very sweet, and it must be so calming to hear the trickle of water on a hot day. But I think I would need to go to the bathroom every time I got near it!

Glad to see you are doing good and next therapy. I like the new fountain and yes you will not forget the date you got it. Peace

So glad to hear good news about your ankle. I love both fountains - a change is nice, though.

Listening to a fountain makes me have to pee:) I am glad you are on the mend and the doctor says you are doing good. That boot has to be a whole lot better than a cast.

I am so sorry to hear about your broken ankle..I did the same thing back 30 years ago..mine was too badly broken and dislocated to repair correctly. I had to learn to walk all over again..it took me months to get out of all the casts..and a year to walk..and I still walk funny, but I count myself lucky to walk. I am envious of your quick recovery..although I know the pain must have been terrible. Do all the therapy..you will make great progress:)
