Rebellion

This is the truest form of rebellion:)

For a deaf child they would cover their eyes.

For an excused child they would be distracted.

For me...it's sitting at the computer saying....I'm busy!

What's yours?

I rebel by stating quite loudly and FIRM "I CANNOT DO THAT ANYMORE."

My FIL built this house in the middle sixties and most of it is glass so he could enjoy the view. For years I washed all those windows. I could do the whole upper side all around in one day. Then it got to BE 2 days, a week, two weeks, three weeks . LESSON LEARN. I did do those bottom windows on the lower porch the first of the weeks and I hurt for 2 days so "I AM NOT WASHING WINDOWS ANYMORE'.

I have this marvelous way of forgetting to do whatever is is that I didn't want to do in the first place. It just totally slips my mind. Often, I "forget" to answer the phone when it rings...

Alternate realities also work for me. One day about 2 months ago, I woke up in the morning convinced it was Sunday. I didn't figure out it was Saturday until late in the afternoon and consequently I was 3 hours late for work.
