Change means turning from something to something. It can be unsettling as it is an unknown but to quote Bruce Barton "When you're through changing you're through".
So true. What I've noticed about myself is that I am always wanting things to get better, but at the same time I don't necessarily want anything to change. When I can finally come to peace with change, I'm sure that my life will be so much easier for me to BE in.
I have been sitting here contemplating this posting for several minutes now, probably as the sheer amount of unwanted changes I have been tackling this year has been huge, and just when I think there cannot be anything else, I'm surprised yet again. Change is constant in everything, I'm just hoping for a more gradual ebb of them ;)
Many changes for me this year too... I have retired, had surgery (minor, don't worry), acquired a new daughter-in-law, I'm going to be a first time grandma, and I'm getting a new grandpuppy! Change isnecessary to get us moving through life. And the change of colours from summer to Autumn is truly beautiful.
