Reflection

Sometimes the world seems like it's
Upside-down
Inside out
Torn down the middle
In need of arrangement
Desperate for guidance
Wanting direction
Lacking leadership
Losing patience
Turning and flipping
Backwards and sideways
Speeding endlessly forward
On a path of self-destruction

And the only thing to stop it,
The only thing to calm it,
Is the lives of the men that
Fight passionately
Fall readily and
Die willingly.
Poem "Sometimes the World Seems"
by Larissa Myschuk
Let us not forget...... we are because they were

Hopefully we will never forget this either.

Very touching poem. I had my flag flying high from my car window as I drove to and from Art. We always have a flag flying from our sky fort that was Puppy's birthday present long ago. I think our Flag and Veterns are ONE. Peace

".....we are because they were." What more could you say. Very nice tribute.

So, how was Gilcrease and the gun show? I'm still sick that we could not get there.

How come we don't learn from the mistakes of the past?
We say we will always remember but sometimes we forget.
