Movie Review

The Bank Job

Watched this movie for 30 minutes and walked out. In the 30 minutes I sat there I may as well have been in a dark adult theatre for all the graphic sex scenes. Was not what I expected for sure but the good news???? I got a pass for another movie by complaining to the manager. Never be afraid to speak up.

The title certainly doesn't make one think of that - good for you. I have been buying DVD's to watch - so far, enjoying each one. Gotta admit, they are kind of sappy love stories but I don't want anything heavy.
BTW,only my opinion, but graphic scenes really don't add anything - it's better to leave some to the imagination.

Thanks I will not rent that one. Once, Puppy wanted a CD and his pals had said it was really good. He wanted to hear it so we pop it into the car's cd player and it was nothing but filth. I whipped the car around and back to the store I march with him in tow and told the saleperson to refund our money and when she hesitated, I told her don't let me have to make a scene. Puppy got his money back.
I agree with jeanmac, I like the old movies with the wave crashing in at the intimate times.
Peace

I've been so disappointed in so many lately....but to take a stand and speak up...that is impressive! It'd have taken at least one large box of movie popcorn to get my courage fired up! Thanks so much for your frequent visits...and comments...you inspire me to step out of my shell and return the favors! Billie

Good for you. We did that on a show before and got tickets to another. I have a friend who always takes a book to the movies in case she's with a group and decides that isn't her cup of tea.

Hi, Somebody has to be different and as usual its me.I always check what a movies about before going then no suprises. We once went to a live Jim Davidson show (rude but I love him) and a couple with a teeneager got up left noisily complaining about the bad language and joke content, but Jim was on them in a flash pointing out that there are large signs outside and in the window of the booking office, also in the official programme, plus he announced this when he came on stage.

re: bigbikerbob comment -- TEENAGERS walking out because of bad language and joke content??? That would have been worth seeing. LOL
