Movie Review

The Kite Runner
A very good movie but done mostly in subtitles. Although it has Pakistan background in it, I didn't think it had any hidden messages but rather a story of loyalty, love and forgiveness.

I thought it a wonderful book, and now that you've told me about it, I'm looking forward to the movie:)

I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie. I never read the book, but it had rave reviews, and the movie looks excellent.

Thanks for the movie idea - I need something "different".

I don't make it to the movies much, but this is one I would like to see.

I hate subtitles so I will forgo seeing this even if it was good. Remember I have to wait until they come out on CD's before I get to see them.
Looking forward to the end of football.

Haven't seen it so I can't comment on hidden messages. But to me, I feel all film has some sort of agenda.

And rather than get all steamed about so many liberal agendas being pushed in films ~ I make a game of finding the spots where it shows. ,-)
