This is the famous Lombard Street in San Francisco, Calif.
It is said to be the crookedest street in the world. Built in 1922, the design was intended to reduce the hills natural 27% grade. It is about 600 feet long and is paved with red bricks. The sign at the top recommends 5 mph. It is lined in flowers and greenery and is beautiful but because of the tourist is have become bit of a hazard.
But how about going down it on a skateboard with no brakes?

It's been featured in a lot of movies, but I simply cannot imagine driving (let alone living) on a hill like that.
I have gone down it twice driving - but that skateboard has everything beat.
Don't you wonder how the camera person was following? Car? Motorcycle? Skateboard? Now that would be the real feat if the person filming was on a skateboard too. LOL
Cool!!! I think we toured down it...but you view is great!!
I would like to see that someday:)
On my bucket list. Peace
been down it many times. hey, tourists: it is not an amusement ride.
