Glamping

So what is glamping?

Glamping is luxury camping that has often been found in Africa for the tourist who come for safari but it is taking hold  in various countries as well as the US.

You can search some of the places here.

I have found one that I am hoping we might stay in if we make a trip back to Wimberley, Texas (an area I really like).

What a place......

Nice, but it kind of takes the adventure out of a trip.

Very lovely but I don't really care for camping in any form. Give me a nice, comfy, air conditioned hotel and I'll take brief jaunts into the wild and back.

my idea of roughing it is; having to stay in a hotel or motel, no room service.

Wow, that looks like a great place to stay! The Texas Hill Country is a favorite of ours, too.
