Warning

This is an interesting billboard and something to think about.
By what means do you base your right and wrong?
What is the track record of that basis?

If politician's are suppose to be able to answer the tough questions than shouldn't we?

Hmmmm... I always thought it was a good thing to be openminded, but I'd hate to lose my brains on the street somewhere.

Wow that is interesting and is that a church billboard?

Wow! This is tough..as a society we are encouraged to be absolutely open minded..

Well ... I'm open-minded enough to decide not to follow the advice on that billboard ;)

Is this more of the "thought patrol" mentality that is creeping into our culture and attempting to creep right into a Bill in The Senate?
I vote for Open Mindedness...! And I think that advice is HORRIBLE!

Thank you for each of you sharing and please note that the purpose of this post was to inspire thought, not state a position. It is not intended to offend anyone but rather to acknowledge that we all make decisions on a daily basis that effects our lives as well as others and we all have some basis for how we come to those conclusions. It could be from anything, how we were taught in school, what country we are from, our race, how we were brought up, our past experiences, our spiritual beliefs and etc. If and when we are questioned on our decisions we should be able to give an answer as to why we came to a specific conclusion. I didn't take this billboard to mean that you can't have different opinions but rather that you should be responsible for the gift of free choice that we have and to know what you believe. To quote Peter Marshall, US Senate Chaplain 1947, "Give us clear vision, that we may know where to stand and what to stand for - because unless we stand for something we shall fall for anything".

This is wierd. That billboard didn't offend me, I thought it was a joke, so I laughed. I had this picture of grey matter spilling out due to lack of physical restraint. I thought it was brilliant!

I loved this. Thanks for the laugh!

It did not offend and I was like others I LOL when I read it. Actually, I am still laughing and I may use it later on. Nothing like stealing a good quote.
Peace

I wasn't offended either..it made me wonder if we should stop and think before blindly following the dictates of society! I should have said that instead of drifting off..
