I am not an adventurous cook so it was not the most normal thing for me to be thinking of a dish I wanted to cook without a recipe! but it just sounded so good and kept running in my head so I went for it!

Smoked pork chops                                                                                         Serves two

1 pkg. smoked pork chops
1 can drained and rinsed sliced potatoes
1 onion thickly sliced
1-9 oz. container Alfredo sauce
1 bunch asparagus spears

Melt small amount of butter and olive oil in pan. Add sliced onion and salt and pepper and cook for a little bit. Top the onions with the sliced potatoes and sprinkle them with  parsley then top all with the pork chops....lower heat, cover and cook for about 15 min. During this time cook the asparagus in the microwave until tender and then let them sit until the 15 min. is up and then add them to the pan and top with about half the Alfredo sauce, salt and pepper. Cover and heat through.

I make a similar dish with pork chops, potatoes, onions and mushroom soup. We love it. What ever made you think of alfredo sauce and asparagus? It is intriguing
