New Orleans 5

Swamp Tour
Signed up for a swamp tour but the real thrill is the airboat

There is nothing to compare with this....

To my surprise many parts of the swamp were pretty
Notice the yellow headphone looking things on the lady taking the picture? That was ear protection from the noise of the motor. Of course the goal is to find alligators and we found several, like this guy hiding in the cool of the green and you know the old saying.....seen one alligator seen them all. The tour guide brought a bag of marshmallows and would throw one out and an alligator would sometimes come and get it. He said they don't taste them but are attracted to things that are white and that is why the number one killer of them is white plastic bags. See the marshmallow...

He was one big alligator....
About 12 foot long and the highlight of the allegator hunt.

I'm weird (as you know), but I love to see gators and swamps and spanish moss. Quite interesting.

Well, that is one thing I haven't done...yet! I may have to now. That looks pretty interesting. I love the Spanish moss.

I believe the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce will want to sign you up as a writer for their tourist business. You sure make me want to go there again and I said I would never go back.

Gators are not a favorite in TN as we love to try and whoop them in football. I bet the boat ride was a thrill but I would have loved to have shared the trip to Oak Alley Plantation. The trees are absolutely wonderful. To bad they cannot reveal the conversations they have heard over the years. Peace
