Home grown

Being a native (home grown) of Arizona I thought it would be fun to give an occasional glimpse of this diverse state so here goes the first one.................................................................

This is the world's largest kokopelli

It is found close to Camp Verde, Arizona

It stands 32 feet high and sits on a 6 foot base

It is made of welded steel and weighs five and a half tons

Kokopelli is pronounced koh-koh-bell-ee

It is a fertility symbol among the Hopi Indians

How nice of you to share. I love seeing post of places and things which are part of the area. When we went from Tempe to the Grand Canyon when Puppy was 6, it seemed as if every 100 miles the scenery would change drasticly.
Peace
