A different perspective

My motto has always been "up close and personal" but seeing this picture got me to thinking....

Banpo Bridge in Seoul, South Korea  What would it be like to drive over this bridge?

I have been over a few famous bridges like.....

The Golden Gate Bridge

The Coronado Bridge in San Diego, Calif.

and my experience with all of those was that the best perspective of the bridge was at a distance like this view of Sydney Harbor Bridge...
that I did not drive over but saw.

If I got to ride over that bridge in Korea would I even see the water?  Maybe up close and personal isn't always the best choice ...............................................................

I doubt that it is possible to see the water from the Korean bridge. It is an interesting design.

I had a dread fear of bridges caused by crossing the Royal Gorge bridge in Colorado when I was a child. When Ron and I married, he was determined to break my phobia and he has done just that. We started small with the bridge in Hannibal, Mo. and worked our way up to the Coronado Bridge in California. After that, going into New Orleans via those causeways was a piece of cake. Water, water everywhere!

Up close and personal from a boat would be a great experience. It's all a matter of perspective.

I'm from nothern Calif. but lived the S.F. Bay area over 50 years. the Golden Gate pic. makes me homesick. I'm back in N.CA now. doesn't feel like home.
