What you don't know won't hurt you....


Several years ago we made a trip to Funchal,Portugal

and only recently did I read that their airport is the most dangerous in the world!!


If I had seen these pictures before I may not have gone...

    Only master pilots would even dare to land or take off there. Yikes!

    Oh my gosh! I can't even imagine! I'm not fond of flying and now I know I'm not flying to Portugal. I thought flying into San Diego through downtown with all the tall buildings in fog was bad enough; this definitely takes the cake!

    ooooh goodness, that can't be a runway??!! sometimes, it's best we don't know. i would probably NEVER eat out if i saw the inside of the kitchen in the restaurant!!
