I love seeing a new bird around the place!!! Today I saw a scissor tail streaking out from our porch. And we have Mockingbirds which we dearly love! We love to count the 'songs' one bird can sing before repeating them. I hope you don't have to battle the squirrels away from the bird feeders as we must do!
Exciting to see your new friend. I also live in Arizona and have never seen that bird. Could be because I live in northern Arizona. I assume you are much further south.
Sometimes we see a blue bunting and we did have a pair of Eurasian doves winter with us so that was good.
How exciting! I hope he brings all his friends with him the next time.
