Thanks for stopping by my blog. When I lived in LA, I too had to travel to get to the snow. Up here at 4,000 ft. it comes to me and then it melts fast, so no need to shovel. It doesn't get better than that!
You have beauty at your doorstep... add some white to that beauty and every thing will turn to diaster in your area.. Snow is nice and I really love winter.. I like the 4 seasons.. ta ta for now,,from Iowa
This is a beautiful tree. I am afraid I would miss the changing seasons if I lived in a hot climate. Although, it has been so cold here today, some heat might be nice!!
My sister lives in Mesa -- she usually comes home to Nebraska to get her fix of snow.
ReplyDeleteI think I might house-sit for her in AZ this year -- (not really, but it would be a nice change from the cold!)

ReplyDeleteDo the leaves fall off of this tree?
ReplyDeleteTrees here are barren and stand like skeletons stripped of their foliage. All will be harsh and brown until snow covers everything.
Nancy, yes, the tree does sometimes become bare but sometimes just dead leaves still hanging on.
