Most of the time I display an antique but today I thought I would show you my butterfly:)
I had this area in the back yard that I wanted to put something different/unique and so I bought this butterfly from a little gal I shot with in Fast Draw. She worked at customizing cars and did things like this on the side. When I told her I wanted to buy it I said the deal would have to include delivery. She agreed and crated it so that it would not fly out the back of the truck:) We have it staked to the ground for the same reason. He indeed is different...........
Wow, beautiful piece of art! What is the material? Are the wings copper? If so, it's a good thing you have a fence around it. Before our auction last month in Kansas, someone got on our property and stole ever scrap of copper they could find. I guess it's at a premium now.

The material is just metal painted with specialized car paint...the wings are cherry red:).....never heard the phrase WOW woman but I think I like it:) Thanks to each of you for commenting.
