The Great Debaters
I must be on a roll because this too was an excellent movie. I did not know it was a true story until the end of the movie when it told how each character ended up. There is a lot more to this movie than it just being about a teacher who encourages the underdogs to succeed. It is about courage and choices and the power of those two things.
This is interesting. It's the second time I've seen this film mentioned, in Pretty Blog Land. And I'd never heard of it before.

ReplyDeleteI have this on my Netflix list but it will be a while before it comes out on DVD. My brother and sister both have seen it and also gave it a rave review. I love Denzel and I hear one of the debates took place at OCU, one of the colleges I attended. I'm very jealous of all your movie going.
