I passed through this area about 4 years ago on my way from California, and I'd love to go back and take another look. But it's not likely in the forseeable future.<br />Good idea, sticking to the penny slot machines, I think I'd do that too.Shammickitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11969803866899076638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6858197955705970353.post-15312136646046046952011-06-20T18:55:54.887-07:002011-06-20T18:55:54.887-07:00Oh what a fun post and trip!!! For some reason, Sedona's red rocks are more vibrant in person. I saw a bear when we drove through Flagstaff and there was lingering snow on the ground. We went from our cousin's house in Phoenix up to see the Grand Canyon. I was not gonna get that close and not see the Canyon. Thanks again for the memories and your view. I am glad you told us the elevations. It is my hope that the casinos will eventually improve the living conditions on the reservation. It is sad to see so much poverty in the shadow of such extravagance.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18296050573667055406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6858197955705970353.post-66317697282237051692011-06-20T08:02:22.100-07:002011-06-20T08:02:22.100-07:00such beautiful territory. :)
