Home Grown

Downtown Prescott, Arizona has a courthouse square and every year they decorate it for Christmas; It indeed is beautiful. Wished I knew of more towns with a courthouse square, love the concept.

You can see lots of these in the South especially here in Tennessee.

I've just been browsing back a few posts and Congratulations on stopping smoking! I know that's a very hard thing to do.My mother smoked until she didnt have enough breath left to suck on the cigarette, so I am very much against the nasty habit. Good for you, to have stopped! And just think of all the money you didn't spend on ciggies!

ex-shammickite, you mentioned about all the money I have saved and that is so true but wanted to share that on my first year anniversary of not smoking I treated myself to a cruise to Alaska:) That is another important part of quiting. Remember to pat yourself on the back all you ex-smokers!

Here in rural missouri there are plenty of town squares. I love the small town feeling and can't hardly stand the small town small mindedness that often creeps in.

What a beautiful picture! I love christmas lights!
